Brad is a recognized leader among his peers and in the La Quinta community. Since joining the company three years ago, he has served on Keller William Realty’s Agent Leadership Council every year. Prior to joining Keller Williams Realty, Brad was Broker/Owner of Schmett & Company, a successful, La Quinta-based, boutique-style real estate brokerage which he founded in 2000.
Brad enjoys giving back to the local community by sharing his real estate experience, knowledge and expertise through his regular written editorial contributions to two local news publications, The GEM and La Quinta Sun.

Before Real Estate
Growing up in southern Indiana, Brad was exposed to a strong Midwestern work ethic and instilled with an inner drive for higher achievement.The importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve them was ingrained in Brad at a very young age. As a young adult, he took this same philosophy with him to college, where he graduated with honors, earning two degrees in consecutive years from the University of Southern Indiana.
After college, Brad went on to a successful career in management in the office furniture manufacturing industry holding several key executive level sales and marketing positions with leading companies. In 1998, charmed by the perfect weather and incredible landscapes, Brad and his family relocated to La Quinta where he opened a new western United States distribution network for a start-up company and finished a 15 year career in the office furniture industry. Having a keen interest in the real estate industry for many years, Brad decided to devote his energies to the world of real estate on a professional level in 2000.
